Itinerary (Subject to Change):
Day 1: May 25: Amman Airport – Amman Hotel
Our representative welcomes you with a sign in front of the immigration at Amman Airport to arrange the free entry visa Jordan. Transfer about 45 minutes to your Amman Hotel, check in, remainder of the day free.
Day 2: May 26: Amman Hotel - Amman City Tour – Amman Hotel (B, L)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will start the day with a city tour of Jordan's capital. Amman, already mentioned in the Bible as Rabbath Ammon, is a bustling modern city. We will visit the Citadel, with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period and a small Archaeological Museum. We will then visit the Roman Theatre from 2nd century with 6000 seats. In the heart of downtown we see the markets (Souq), a spice and herb shop.
Lunch at Hashem Restaurant (Falafel, Hummus, Foul, Tea), Kanafeh from Habibah Sweets.
After lunch we will visit the Royal Automobile Museum which displays more than 70 classic cars and motorbikes from the personal collection of King Hussein. It's something of a gem, and a great way to recount the story of modern Jordan.
Dinner will be on our own.

Day 3: May 27: Amman Hotel – Umm Qais – Jerash – Beit Sitti Amman – Amman Hotel (B, L, D)
After breakfast we will drive two hours from Amman to Gadara (Umm Qais), which belonged to the famous Decapolis, a union of 10 cities, founded by Alexander the Great. Here you have an overwhelming view over the north Jordan Valley, the Golan Heights and the Sea of Galilee. We leave for Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Visit the spectacular forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis.
We will return to Amman for our cooking class at Beit Sitti.

Day 4: May 28: Amman Hotel – Mt. Nebo – Madaba - Dead Sea Beach - Petra Hotel (B, L)
After breakfast we will drive to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died. We will visit the old monastery and overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land. Afterwards, we will proceed to Madaba to see the Archeological Park with some Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics.
We will continue to the Dead Sea, where we will enjoy some leisure time, including an unforgettable floating experience.
Afterwards, we will continue to our Petra hotel.
Dinner will be on our own.

Day 5: May 29: Petra Hotel – Petra Visit - Dinner at Little Petra – Petra Hotel (B, L, D)
After breakfast we travel to the red rose city of Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundation of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. With the guide pass the canyon, the so called Siq, to see the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. We will have free time to explore Petra on our own (for example climb the 800 stairs to the Monastery El Deir) and then return the same way to the entrance gate.
After lunch we will travel to the Little Petra campground to see the preparation of our Zarb, a traditional Beduoin barbeque. We will return to the hotel to rest before heading back to the camp for dinner.

Day 6: May 30: Petra Hotel –Wadi Rum Jeep Tour – Wadi Rum Camp (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will drive 1.5 hours southwards to the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. Here the Bedouins still live in a traditional way, and by 4x4 Jeep we will discover canyons, sand dunes and Nabatean rock inscriptions.

Day 7: May 31: Wadi Rum Camp – Aqaba Orientation Tour – Private Beach – Aqaba Hotel (B, D)
AFter breakfast we will drive 1 hour to Aqaba. We will have free time at the beach at the south coast. Transfer to Aqaba hotel.

Day 8: June 1: Aqaba Hotel – Snorkeling cruise with lunch – Dinner at Local Restaurant – Aqaba Hotel (B, L, D)
After breakfast we will will enjoy a Yacht Excursion with lunch (2 hours sailing, 1 hour anchoring).
Free Afternoon. Overnight Aqaba hotel.

Day 9: June 2: Aqaba Hotel – Aqaba Airport (B)
Breakfast, latest check out 12:00, according to departure time 15 min transfer to Aqaba Airport to say farewell.

• On this tour there is moderate walking on uneven surfaces. You walk several kilometers in Petra, so you will want to pack good walking shoes.
