Back by popular demand! Join us on our 2024 Eat Smart Culinary, Cultural and Safari Tour of South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Our small group tours allow you to experience each destination in a meaningful way to create not only fond memories but you’ll gain a strong understanding of the culture.

FOR A MINIMUM OF 6 PARTICIPANTS, MAXIMUM OF 10 PARTICIPANTS
Price starting from $11,775 per person, double occupancy with 10 participants. Price starting from $14,445 per person, single occupancy with 10 participants. The tour will proceed if we have a minimum of 6 participants. Final price to be determined by number of participants and will be discussed with confirmed participants prior to final tour commitment and payment of deposits to Africa tour operator.

Deposit:
​A non-refundable* deposit of $4,200 USD per person sharing a room, or $4,900 for single occupancy, is required upon booking. 
Once your deposit has been received, you will receive a  Reservation Packet to fill out and return. ​ If you would like to pay by credit card, please add 4% to cover the credit card fees. A link will be sent to make the payment electronically.

*Your deposit is refundable until you have been notified that the tour has filled and the deposits have been sent to our Africa tour operator, at which point the deposit is non-refundable.

Balance due 70 days prior to departure. 

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation prior to 70 days before departure:  Initial deposit is non-refundable. Cancellation made 69 – 1 days before departure, the cancellation charge is 100% of the tour cost.

Included Services:
  • Accommodation in Cape Town, Franschhoek, Johannesburg, and the Motswari Private Game Reserve (single or double rooms - including breakfast)
  • Domestic flights in South Africa
  • First day and last day of tour airport transfers, as group (extra charge for separate transfers)
  • Land transportation by air-conditioned vehicle
  • Services of co-leaders Joan Peterson and Susan Chwae
  • Entrance fees to museums and historical sites
  • All lunches and dinners unless specified on non-Safari All-Inclusive days
  • All Inclusive Game Preserve includes all meals, local beers, house wines and soft drinks, 2 Game drives daily, Guided safari walks with refreshments
  • Cooking demonstrations and classes
  • Bottled water (available on the motor coach and at lunch and dinner)

Not included:
  • International flights for the participants
  • Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks during lunch and dinner, unless specified
  • Tips for driver and guide
  • Tips for the porters at the hotels and airport
  • Tips for the wait staff
