vomFass's new culinary space, DelecTable, offers up exciting, interesting, and unique culinary experiences. The space has allowed us to showcase the wonderful cuisines of the world we've written about in our EAT SMART series of culinary travel guidebooks, while giving the authors the opportunity to talk about the history of the food and why it's important in the region. We feel that knowing a country's food is the best way to learn about a culture, and put this into practice when we lead culinary tours around the world. ​

Our second Dinner with the Author series will feature local author Carol "Orange" Schroeder and "Eat Smart in Denmark." Chef Edward Chwae will be preparing delicious dishes from the book and pairing each dish with traditional Danish beverages. Carol will discuss the dishes, Danish food from a historical standpoint, and her experiences in Denmark. Join us for a memorable family-style Danish dinner!

Carol “Orange” L. Schroeder has a BA in Danish studies from Tufts University, including a year at the University of Copenhagen, and an MA in Scandinavian studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. In addition to running the award-winning gift and gourmet shop Orange Tree Imports for over forty years, she is the author of Danish Literature in English Translation and several translations. ​
