Eat Smart in Germany | Dinner with the Authors  by VOMFass - delecTable

vomFass's new culinary space, DelecTable, offers up exciting, interesting, and unique culinary experiences. The space has allowed us to showcase the wonderful cuisines of the world we've written about in our EAT SMART series of culinary travel guidebooks, while giving the authors the opportunity to talk about the history of the food and why it's important in the region. We feel that knowing a country's food is the best way to learn about a culture, and put this into practice when we lead culinary tours around the world. ​

Our next Dinner with the Author series will feature Mary Bergin and her book, "Eat Smart in Germany." Executive Chef Edward Chwae will be preparing delicious dishes inspired by the book and pairing each dish with traditional German beverages. Mary will discuss the dishes, German food from a historical standpoint, and her experiences in Germany. Join us for a memorable family-style German Octoberfeast!
Mary Bergin of Madison, Wisconsin, is a lifelong professional journalist whose writing forte is food and travel. Her award-winning books about Wisconsin and the Midwest demonstrate an intense interest in regional quirks and specialties.

*Price includes dinner and drink pairings. Tax and 18% service charge will be added at event.

One seating, 6:00 p.m. - reservations required. $25 deposit per person required for reservations. Remaining payment to be made when checking in prior to start of event. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Attendees are welcome to arrive up to an hour early to select their tables, enjoy a cocktail from our bar, and shop vomFASS.
