On August 17, Joan and I flew to NYC for the Book Launch Party for "Eat Smart in Denmark" by mother and daughter co-authors, Carol and Katrina Schroeder. The event was held at The Copenhagen restaurant. The Copenhagen provided a sampling of its famous smørrebrød. Danish cheeses and other delicacies were also in abundance. On tap was Carlsberg beer, generously donated for the event. We even tried the house-made snaps. Special guest Danish Consul General Jarl Frijs-Madsen said, "This is a book that every tourist should get before they go to Denmark, because it will make their enjoyment of Danish food that much better." Proceeds from the event benefit the food charity No Kid Hungry. Congratulations to Carol and Katrina!

We are the food that we eat so let us be conscious for there will be effects that might occur and we must not suffer from the effects that can be avoided. This post will raise awareness and people will realize the value of having a healthy lifestyle. A lifestyle that will give us a hand for it will make our lives easier. I want to have a healthy diet and when I go to the market I will buy enough vegetables for me to consume.
